[Onda] means a wave in Italian, [Onda Tokyo] includes the meaning of small waves collecting together creating a big wave. Three specialists, including Mr. Onda, who went to Italy to study the local flavor, got together to introduce the new style [Italian-Japonica] cuisine adapted to the culture and climate of Japan. They mainly serve seafood and seasonal vegetables from Shizuoka, Mr. Nakamura's hometown, presented on original Japanese Mino ware tableware. In [Gift of the sea, Onda style], you can feel the feeling of Mr. Onda from his food and the tableware. The selection of Italian wines on the menu changes from season to season so that you can sample different pairings seasonally. The restaurant has no sign and is tucked away.
