Enjoy shabu-shabu (sliced meat parboiled with vegetables) and sukiyaki (hot pot stew) with the highest grade of Japanese Black beef at Akasaka Edozakura. We use the choicest marbled cuts of A5 Japanese Black, meeting BMS (beef marbling standards) achieved by only 1% of the meat in an entire head of cattle. To fully enjoy the umami (pleasant savory taste) of this meat as it melts in your mouth, we recommend the shabu-shabu. Our course meals feature seasonal vegetables and mushrooms, as well as fresh sashimi from seafood harvested in Hyogo’s Tsuiyama fishing harbor. The authentic Japanese interior and the private rooms (for parties of two or more) with their hori gotatsu are equally suited to family celebrations, anniversary dates, and entertaining guests. Our diligent female staff in kimono will provide you with uninterrupted service, making our restaurant an ideal place for a meal where you don't have to worry about a thing.

After adding some mild sweet flavors to the skin, the duck is roasted crisp in a special pot. The duck is raised in such a way as to make the skin thick and tasty. It is then wrapped in a tortilla with finely cut spring onions and cucumber to give you a pleasurable variety of textures. The chef goes to Tsukiji each day to find the best seasonal ingredients. No matter how good your cooking skills are, you can't make the perfect dish without the perfect ingredients. The chef brings the true taste of his ingredients in a way that deceptive seasoning could never accomplish. Many of our customers rave about our signature carbonara udon (thick noodles) because of the delicious combination of bonito soup stock and fried bacon. Japanese people have a fundamental yearning for Japanese-style soup stock, and that subtle seasoning may be why they love this dish so much. We're particular about all of the ingredients we use, so it's hard to pick just one, but we could say that our most exceptional ones are our seasonal vegetables and our pollack roe. Indonesian skewers called "Satay" are ubiquitous even in Japan. The signature of these spicy marinaded meat skewers is their surprising juiciness and ease of eating. We import from Indonesia those spices which are hard to get our hands on. Our restaurant's most famous menu item is Oden (boiled meat and vegetables), which we offer year-round. We have received much praise from our regular customers, but getting the flavor right has been a lot of hard work. Come and experience the flavor of our Dashi (fish stock) made from five types of flaked bonito. Our konbu (kelp) is the best Japanese konbu, which is produced in Hokkaido. Our katsuobushi (dried bonito pieces) is a high-grade katsuobushi that is made in Makurazaki in Kagoshima prefecture. We use deep sea salt from Okinawa. For our female customers, we offer a free dessert; a high-quality pudding made with eggs from the region of Kuji.
