Located at an elevation of around 700 m, this botanical garden experiences average temperatures 5℃ lower than surrounding urban areas, causing its winters to come early and summers to be late. The Rokko Cable Car travels 1.7 km along a steep mountainside, taking it 500 m up and necessitating a staircase floor design for the lift.
