Dozeu Iidaya

Asakusa/Ryogoku, Tokyo

Boneless hotpot, fabulous freshness simmered to perfection served in a space reminiscent of a Japanese inn

The Japanese loach in our boneless hotpot is added to the pot raw. When comparing loach simmered fresh in-pot with loach that've been simmered beforehand, you'll find that the former has a far superior texture and taste. We obtain our loach mostly from Chiba, but also from Akita and Ibaraki. Each area has a different environment and, thus, the fish, a different flavor. Additionally, great care is taken when we select burdock and green onion, indispensable for loach hotpot. Without fussing over the area of production, we bring in what's best at the time. The first floor seating is easy to view from the side entrance kitchen. Thus, our chef doesn't fixate solely on making food, but also takes a reading on the guests beforehand to see what sort of food experience they're wanting, mindful to have guests fully satisfied with their meals. As a shop with history, there've been times when regulars have brought in their children and their grandchildren, too, sharing a meal spanning three generations. It's a joy to see

En

Kawaramachi/Kiyamachi/Pontocho (Downtown Kyoto), Kyoto

Make things from scratch and you can create your own unique flavor.

This dish, like all our cooking, is made from scratch and possesses its own unique flavor. Even with "so," a traditional Japanese dairy product, I insist upon freshness. The color is something that is completely different from processed food products, and the flavor is unlike anything else. Our homemade-style dried mullet roe is made without removing too much moisture, ensuring its soft texture. If the customer wants, we can slice and serve it with alcohol, but we recommend its soft texture as ideal with steamed rice. Since moving to this location, we haven't had a fixed closing time. We want customers to relax while they are here. After the meal we serve a sweet dish and a cup of houji tea (roasted green tea). Enjoy tea made in a kettle of clear well water. Just one cup serves to relax both mind and body.

Enji

Ginza/Yurakucho/Tsukiji, Tokyo

They serve Sake (Japanese rice wine) that matches the restaurant's unique cuisine. The exquisite pairing is intoxicating.

Enji is a bar where you can enjoy pairings of food and drink that complement each other. The cuisine varies, from sashimi and sushi rolls to stews and risottos. The chef puts considerable time and effort into creating highly original dishes using the ingredients that arrived that day or ingredients that he has specifically chosen. The restaurant offers a full array of drinks to match a meal, including wine, scotch, and whiskey. This restaurant takes its name from the word "smoke," so you can enjoy dishes smoked in the restaurant or topped with smoked seasonings. As soon as you enter, the relaxed atmosphere will put you at ease despite the hustle and bustle of Ginza. This bar is a hideaway for adults and is loved by many patrons, many of whom are men in their late 30s.

ete - French cuisine

Kamakura/Enoshima, Kanagawa

Hors d'oeuvres, our foie gras creations vary day to day at our restaurant infused with a relaxing ambiance

For the hors d'oeuvres accompanying dinner, we always use the high class ingredient, foie gras. We want people to enjoy a dish with real French spirit. Deciding how best to combine it with the seasonal vegetables is our fun task for the day. We serve food at a good price, but despite this, we never compromise on the quality of our ingredients. We serve Challans duck, brought in by air from France, and special citrus fruits from Kumamoto. We don't worry about whether ingredients are domestic or imported as long as they are excellent. Customers can see into our open kitchen. Being able to enjoy the activity, which is like a live performance, is another one of the restaurant's charms. It isn't just about eating delicious food, but about stimulating all five senses, including sound and smell. Through all of this we hope to provide customers with an enjoyable meal. Between the counter seats and the kitchen, there is a service walk-way, so things are just about the right distance from the kitchen. Our restaurant is

FEI - Little TaiKouRou

Tokyo Station, Tokyo

First choice for gourmet Chinese cuisine with great service!

The lamb is sliced thinly in this dish so that it's easy to eat and doesn't have too much of a mutton smell. It's highly recommended, because the chefs know the ingredients inside and out and prepare the dish painstakingly so that all flavors are preserved. We are very selective about freshness here, and use fresh fish from the very same day. We decide how to cook each dish only after examining each ingredient we have in stock.. We always work hard to provide service that is attentive, but unobtrusive. We want our customers to be able to relax and enjoy their meal without any distractions. We offer a comfortable atmosphere with prompt service responding quickly to the needs of each customer. A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, with a striking interior reminiscent of the restaurants you'd find tucked into little alleyways in China. You can drop in anytime, but we also recommend this restaurant for a girls' night out when you want to enjoy a gourmet meal in a new atmosphere.
