TANAKA YAKINIKU RESTAURANTE is based on the concept of "The best Yakiniku restaurant of life" by the meat expert Mr. Satoru Tanaka. It offers the finest delicious Japanese beef with the best Grand Maison-style service. Situated on the basement floor of a building complex facing Sakura-dori Street, just a 2-minute walk from Nagoya Station, providing excellent accessibility. With nine private rooms, it is the perfect place to invite important guests for business entertainment, dinners, anniversaries, and other occasions. The restaurant was designed by space designer Yasumichi Morita of GLAMOROUS co.,ltd. The luxurious and elegant space adds splendor to the guests' precious time. There is also a large wine cellar with more than 100 kinds at all times, so you can also enjoy the marriage with the dishes served.

Watch us prepare our delicious seafood set meal "Asamasan" while you're seated at our counter seats.

This is a popular set meal comprising of maki shrimp, whiting, shiso maki squid, three types of vegetable (pumpkin, eggplant, Moroccan beans), and mixed fried shrimp. Other than this, we also have two other set meals, called "Usui Touge" and "Karuizawa." We use ingredients that are in season, changing them depending on the time of year. That is something that we are very particular about with our tempura. The fish are delivered directly from Tsukiji fish market and are incredibly fresh. When we cook, we always make sure to concentrate on what we are doing. Adjusting the temperature of the oil is one of the difficulties of fried food. The adjustment of the heat that is necessary for this delicate style of cooking depends upon the craftsman's concentration. That is the kind of cooking that we produce every day. The fish is prepared by first salting it for a day and night. Then after washing away the excess fishy odor, the fish is marinated in saikyo (Kyoto-style) miso for four to five days. It is then carefully slow-grilled, positioned relatively far from a strong flame. The result is an abundance of flavor, densely packed within its flesh. We receive delicious seasonal items from all over Japan, and primarily from Miyagi prefecture. We can't explain our selections in a word, but you'll understand them after just one bite.
