Hikariya Higashi in Ote, Matsumoto City, is a restaurant recommended for celebrations such as betrothal ceremonies and other special occasions. In the historical building built in 1887, you can enjoy seasonal cuisine while experiencing the beauty of Japanese culture, including the fusuma (sliding door) paintings related to Matsumoto. Each kaiseki course incorporates ingredients from the local Shinshu region, with local vegetables recommended confidently by the chef and succulent "Shinshu Wagyu" beef.
