[Yamamoto], near to Ishigaki Port, has made many guests smile with delicious yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) cuisine since we were established. Our owner Yamamoto, who fell in love with Ishigaki Beef, is delighted to reasonably offer its savory meat on its home island. Do not miss its high-grade & normal-grade ribeye & kalbi (ribs), as well as our original menu [Yaki Shabu] developed by our owner. You will never get tired of its refreshing sweet fat and red meat with the rich, savory taste. Also, enjoy various side dishes such as [Nikotan (simmered beef tongue)] and [Aka Musubi (rice ball with special miso paste)]. We are famous for offering the highest-grade yakiniku in a casual [bistro] style. As we open while supplies last, and often close around 8 pm, it is recommended to visit us in the early hours or make reservations in advance.

Fully enjoy our reasonable sashimi and simmered fish using just caught fish. 6-7 kinds of fish are always available. The contents vary depending on the weather condition, etc. Inside the restaurant is an open space filled with a homey Okinawan atmosphere, where you can reasonably enjoy typical casual Okinawan local dishes, such as [Stir-Fried Bitter Melon with Meat, Tofu, and Other Vegetables] and [Okinawan-Style Braised Pork]. Approximately 10 kinds of island liquor and awamori (Okinawan liquor) are always available, as well as local beer from Ishigak-jima Island. We are popular among tourists as well. 

Wagyu Yakiniku Horumon Aigo in Ishigaki, Okinawa, is a popular hidden yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant that is particular about Japanese Black Beef. The chef, who has experience in the butchering field for a long time, examines Ishigaki beef and Misaki beef, the two notable beef brands on Ishigaki Island. He carefully selects and serves only the delicious meat cut available daily. Popular menu items include "Aigo Bulk Red Meat," which captures the original taste of the meat by grilling the block meat dynamically, and "Thick-cut Beef Tongue," which is rare to purchase from its own route. "Four kinds of Red Meat Assortment" that assorted their proud selection of red meats are also popular. With a comfortable mix of locals and tourists, the restaurant has table seats and counter seatings with smokeless roasters. Not only does our soba (buckwheat noodles) feature heaps of aasa (a type of Japanese seaweed) as a topping, but the aasa is also kneaded into the buckwheat noodles themselves to give the dish a hearty ocean fragrance. Enjoy it paired harmoniously with our naturally-flavored dashi broth. The aasa used in our Aasa Soba is a product of Kitanakagusuku, a village famous for the product. The seaweed is treated thoroughly with water, resulting in a fine aroma, smooth texture, and a pleasant fragrance. Our theme is to go above and beyond the expectations of those guests who've traveled from afar to dine with us. We emphasize not only our fine flavors, but our charming atmosphere, and warm Okinawan service and hospitality. Our building was constructed in Ryukyuan style, shortly after WWII. With the Ryukyuan red tiles, hibiscus flowers, and the Shiisaa statue on the roof, a scene that is quintessentially Okinawan will unfold before your eyes.

RIKIO is an authentic yakiniku restaurant that is particular about local meat, including Ishigaki Beef. The menu offers a wide variety of meat, such as Ishigaki beef, Golden Agu Pork, and Yambaru Young Chicken. In particular, the meltingly tender "Chateaubriand" and the rare tongue with the special green onion sauce, "Tied Beef Tongue," are exquisite. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is located in the American Village, where many tourists and local regulars also visit. It is family-friendly, and guests with children are welcome.
