To reasonably enjoy spit-roasted dishes, fresh and seasonal dishes, and local sake (Japanese alcohol), you will surely want to be a repeater. 

We are a little away from the Kokubuncho-dori street, with an attractive cozy atmosphere that makes you feel like to be a repeater. We serve various seasonal tastes of Miyagi, such as fresh chicken which is manually-prepared at the restaurant and slowly grilled with charcoals. Our menus are very reasonable, for example popular [Ponjiri (around coccyx of chicken)] is from 100 JPY a stick, and highballs (whisky and soda) are from 290 JPY a glass. We also serve a wide range of sake and shochu (Japanese alcohol), not only renowned ones from all over Japan, but also various local ones from Miyagi, being true to our name (sakedokoro means a drinking place). We are suited not only to enjoy a meal, but also for after party or as a bar to visit very late at night to call it a day.

[Sansuien Second branch], a popular yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant is located near the east exit of Sendai Stataion and very close to the main branch. As both restaurants are very popular, reservations are a must especially on weekends. We have counter seats available for couples, and single guests. Our black-based wooden interior with a chic atmosphere is ideal for dates. Many of our repeaters consist mainly of adult couples and single lady guests. You can fully enjoy the savory taste of Japanese beef with our popular [Loin Lightly Grilled for 5 Seconds], [Red Meat Steak], or [Lightly Grilled Fatty Steak] with lightly-grilled sirloin cut served with egg. A wide-selection of wine that we offer perfectly goes well with [matured meat] concentrated by using a dry-aging method. Courses with all-you-can-drink are ideal for various kinds of banquets.

Ajikobo Iwasa

A western-style pub, popular with the locals, was relocated and reopened. Teppanyaki (grilled on iron griddle) menu and private rooms have become available.

[Ajikobo Iwasa] has been relocated and reopened on the 4th floor of a building near to its previous location. They offer cuisine with various local ingredients from Miyagi prefecture, and a wide variety of alcohol from wine to sake (Japanese alcohol). Teppanyaki (grilled on iron griddle) dishes have been newly added to their regular popular dishes which include [Home-Made Beef Tongue Curry] and [Home-Made Bouillabaisse]. Other than western dishes, they also offer Chinese and Japanese dishes which go well with alcohol. They mainly use carefully selected local ingredients, such as Japanese black beef from Sendai, Noda Duck from Kakuda city, Miyagi, seafood from fishing ports in Miyagi, and fresh vegetables. Their space has the same chic and relaxing atmosphere as before. Private rooms have become available, where you can relax and enjoy meals.

varm in Kitasendai is a hybrid restaurant with wood-fired cooking, bakery, and roasted coffee. Since its establishment in 2022, the restaurant has been attracting an increasing number of fans by offering three different tastes produced by "heat," meaning the restaurant's name. Chef Akutsu, who trained in Tokyo and France and opened his restaurant to run a restaurant with his family in his hometown, is the master of the wood-fired grill. Based on the modern Basque and French cuisine that he gained experience in, he presents a variety of dishes that bring the flavors of the ingredients to their peak with the power of an open flame. Ingredients are selected from the Tohoku region, and he is exploring the new "Tohoku Terroir." You can enjoy the best of it in two different dinner courses. The authentic bread baked by the chef's wife and the coffee roasted by his parents are also exceptional. It is one restaurant you will want to go to for many years, both everyday and extraordinary!
