Kanazawa Sekitei offers novel cuisine arranged not only in traditional Kaga style but prepared also with local vegetables and seafood from Kanazawa areas. The restaurant takes pride in their tradition of ryotei cuisine and old customs native to Japan. Sumptuous dishes range from juicy and rich, tasteful [Grilled seaperch], [Shabu-shabu] (sliced meat parboiled with vegetables) served with our original ponzu (citrus seasoned soy sauce) and sesame sauce among other fine meals. Interior is designed in traditional Japanese style and large and small private rooms, including space floored with tatami and tables, are also available according to the number of guests. Guests can hold gatherings among close friends, business table, traditional celebration and ceremonies and other events at the restaurant for a worthwhile dining experience.     

[Sushi Naoki] is 5 minutes from Higashi Chayagai, a neighborhood in Kanazawa whose latticed windows and cobblestone streets have been recognized as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings by the Japanese government. It opened its doors in May 2020. The chef, Mr. Kita, is a friend of the fishermen who work at the nearby fishing harbor, and personally visits every day in order to rigorously select the best ingredients for his restaurant. Kanazawa is his hometown, and he wants to share the local flavors with his guests, so he meticulously prepares seafood such as white fishes, bluebacks, and shellfishes from the nearby ocean. He picks out the best fish of each season to serve to his customers, from sardines in spring to Japanese whitings in summer, sea breams in fall, and amberjacks in winter. Here, guests can enjoy dining in a high-class, stately building for a reasonable price.

The popular yakiniku restaurant Daishogun from Toyama takes on the challenge of offering the ultimate yakiniku unique to Kanazawa. The meat is carefully selected by Wagyu beef chefs through its own channels, and the cuts are prepared by hand with the utmost care. Our hide-away like restaurant is along Saigawa River, a little far from the downtown in Katamachi, Kanazawa city. Though teppanyaki (grilled on iron griddle) restaurants are  considered high-budget in general, you can casually enjoy our authentic teppanyaki dishes at reasonable prices.
