Unagi-ka Shibafuku-ya, located approximately a six-minute walk from Kokusai Center Station on Nagoya Municipal Subway Sakuradori Line, is a restaurant renovated from an old Japanese house in a town filled with an Edo atmosphere. Inside, you will see a sophisticated space, applying a modern sense to a traditional Japanese building with old columns. As the name of the restaurant implies, their specialty is unagi (eel) cuisine. Also, enjoy the wide variety of side dishes that match perfectly with alcohol and unique unagi dishes such as Liver Ahijo, and Hitsumabushi (broiled and chopped eel on rice) with garlic pepper. Their innovative dishes go well not only with sake and shochu (Japanese alcohols) but also with wine.

The Nishiki 3-chome area of Nagoya is filled with famous restaurants. WAGYU sommelier is a restaurant specializing in steaks of "Shimomura-gyu," a specialty of Aichi Prefecture with a history of over 80 years. The beef is known for having won first prize at a national Wagyu beef competition. The marbling is the symbol of Wagyu, but the restaurant believes that it is an absolute requirement that it be natural, the result of a healthy upbringing. So, artificially marbled meat is not used; only healthy reddish-brown, carefully nurtured meat is used. The steak is grilled rare to bring out the true flavor of the meat with only 3 minutes of "best-before" time. The restaurant's interior is reminiscent of the South of France, with a relaxing atmosphere and antique-style décor. In addition to counter and table seating, there are also fully private rooms.

Paella is a famous Spanish dish. Authentic paella uses saffron, so it is not actually very yellow. Savor the taste of genuine Spanish paella with our exquisite seasonings. We only use spices and olive oil from Spain in our dishes, but we stock fresh vegetables from Gifu. During the summer we highly recommend our "Gazpacho." A dish from the Andalusia region of Spain, it's a chilled vegetable soup with a tomato base. We try to create a comfortable atmosphere in our cozy establishment. Communication with our customers is most important to us. This is why we try to talk with our customers and develop relationships. Earthenware and decorative plates regularly bought from Catalonia are decorated in the shop to create a Spanish atmosphere. Please appreciate the paintings on the outside of the shop too.
