A new type of yakitori restaurant featuring specialty skewers and Italian-based a la carte dishes to savor with wine.

Sumibi Yakitori BOND, which opened in Tsubogawa, Naha-shi, in April 2023, is a stylish Yakitori restaurant that overturns the image of a standard Yakitori restaurant. Its yakitori, made with carefully selected fine ingredients and house-made sauce of red wine and fruit, is a new taste sensation that goes well with wine. A wide variety of Italian-based a la carte dishes and blackboard menus are also available, which can be enjoyed with the owner's choice of wines. In addition to various Yakitori skewers, the recommended menu items are "Kagoshima Shukei (special chicken) Tataki" and "Kagoshima Shukei Seared Thigh." Both offer a direct taste of the deliciousness of the Shukei chicken, characterized by its firm texture and rich flavor. A secret base-like floor in the back of the restaurant is ideal for parties. All-you-can-drink courses are also available.

This insider spot, 5 minutes by car from Ishigaki Harbor Terminal, is perfect for experiencing food created from the bountiful ingredients and seasonings of Yaeyama. There are many original creations on offer here, such as an Italian ratatouille arranged with nabera (luffa). They also use many herbs from Yaeyama, such as chomeiso (Okinawan parsley), to create food that is both tasty and healthy. The restaurant's wood interior evokes Yaeyama's nature, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and there is both a semicircular counter as well as table seating that can accomodate single diners, families, and even parties of up to 20! The original fermented creations, such as black vinegar and tomato soy sauce, that they sell here are popular souvenirs among visitors to Ishigaki.

Do not miss its high-grade & normal-grade ribeye & kalbi (ribs), as well as our original menu [Yaki Shabu] developed by our owner. You will never get tired of its refreshing sweet fat and red meat with the rich, savory taste.
