GION Yamaneko

GION Yamaneko is a dining bar where you can casually enjoy seven kinds of Kyoto craft beers and over 50 kinds of Japanese sake from daytime, which is rare in Gion, in a space with a traditional Kyoto feel. The restaurant is decorated in a modern fusion of Japanese and Western styles, with chochin lanterns and dried flowers creating a stylish atmosphere. The two-story Kyomachiya townhouse, which is 150 years old & was formerly a teahouse, has a ground floor with counter and table seating for 23 seats and a second floor with sofa seating for up to 10 people. It is also favored for a quick drink, making it ideal for daytime drinking. A sake comparison set, carefully selected by three sake sommeliers, is highly recommended. It also offers a wide variety of drinks besides sake, such as original blend coffee, which can be used as a café.

Kyoto Kushidokoro Azumaya

Enjoy a wonderful time with yakitori and kushiage with a sauce enhanced over 15 years and a wide selection of Japanese sake.

Azumaya is located about a 7-minute walk from Sanjo Station on Keihan Electric Railway, in Zaimoku-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto-shi. The restaurant offers delicious yakitori made from Kyoto chickens slaughtered in the morning with a secret sauce that has been enhanced for 15 years, kushiage skewers with a fine batter and three different house-made sauces, and horse sashimi shipped directly from Kumamoto. The sake lineup always includes more than 20 varieties from all the sake breweries in Kyoto City. There is a wide selection of cocktails and shochu highballs, and all-you-can-drink is also available. With its slow jazz music, the restaurant's interior is a bright space that dispels the image of a conventional yakitori restaurant. In addition to counter seats and table seats, there are sunken kotatsu seats for private rooms. Large banquets can be held on the second and third floors.

Inside the shop, a pine tree is designed as a symbol of [Cha No Ka]. Outside the shop is not colored in green as a pine tree, but in champagne gold to express a new worldview of [Cha No Ka]. At our eat-in space where you can take a short break, please enjoy [Fresh Cha No Ka Ice Cream Bar], a new variation of [Cha No Ka] that is available only at our branch. This new menu with the same texture as [Nama Cha No Ka] already has a delicious taste of Koicha without adding anything. However, deeper flavor can be enjoyed by adding Koicha espuma.
