Gansozushi at Shinjuku Nishiguchi is a super popular conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Their ingredients are gotten fresh every morning from Tsukiji and that probably explains why this store is so popular. Walk into this store and you can feel how passionate the sushi chefs are here, so you'll know that what you're being served is the best of the best.

The best thing about this place is that it is open till very late at night which makes it perfect for those who have just gone drinking and would like to end the night off with delicious sushi. This conveyor belt sushi restaurant is located at the bustling Kabuki-cho. Well, you don't have to wait till the wee hours in the night to come here. If you are ever in the area during lunch time, come by for some yummy sushi.

4. Kaisen Misakiko, Shinjuku Eastside Square 

For a slightly modern touch, come over to Kaisen Misakiko at Shinjuku Eastside Square because here you can order what you want to eat with their touch screen order panel and your order will come right away on the conveyor belt. In other words, you don't have to worry about not knowing how to order in Japanese. It's super popular so there might be a long line during lunch time. If you come right after lunch time, you'll be able to find a seat quite easily.

As you would have guessed this Oedo store at Shinjuku Eki Mae is of the same chain as the one introduced previously. The one difference that stands between both stores would have to be the lunch don here. You can choose the 7 different types of fish you want served on your lunch don and you'll find the price at ¥600, unbeatable!

9. Oedo, Shinjuku Minamiguchi

By now you can already guess that this one too belongs to the same Oedo family as number 7 and 8. This Oedo branch stands out from the other two ones because you can have your order taken directly from the sushi chef. Conveyor belt sushi restaurants are fun but nothing beats ordering sushi from the sushi chef directly and have them made directly in front of you.

It's super popular and there are always customers as it is just right next to Shinjuku station. You don't have to spend a fortune for yummy sushi at this place and you'll have more than enough change for a glass of beer too!

Tenkazushi at Shinokubo is well known for serving the freshest sushi. Here, they have English and Korean menus too, so you don't have to worry about not knowing what you are getting on your plate. If you don't know where to start, you could always ask the staff and they'll suggest the best of the best in the store.
