About Sumida Aquarium\'s Tokyo Goldfish Wonderland 2019

Tokyo Goldfish Wonderland 2019 is held at Sumida Aquarium from Friday, July 12, 2019 to Thursday, October 31, 2019. It is held on the 5th floor, called the "Edo-rium", and you can see around 10 different kinds of Japanese goldfish, called "kingyo" in Japanese, such as wakin (common goldfish), ryukin (fringetail goldfish) and demekin (telescope eye). There\'s no additional fee if you pay the aquarium entry fee (2,050 yen for adults).

Solamachi, the popular shopping area in SKYTREE TOWN, opens at 10:00 am, and Sumida Aquarium opens at 9:00 am. A lot of people go to the aquarium after shopping at Tokyo Solamachi, so there are relatively few people at the aquarium right after it opens.

Also, after 6:00 pm, families start heading home, so there will be less of a crowd than during the day, and you can view the aquarium at your leisure.
