Inside the building there is a newly built shop that has a fashionable atmosphere unlike your run-of-the-mill tempura shop. They also have wine so you can enjoy drinking while tasting the true tempura.

3. たも屋 有楽町店 Tamo-ya Yurakucho Shop


“Tamo-ya Yurakucho Shop” is a place where you can enjoy udon and tempura for reasonable price. They have the system of making udon by yourself so you can experience making udon. The famous combination of “Sanuki Udon” and tempura is outstanding.

4. 天麩羅末廣(すえひろ) Tempura Suehiro


“Tempura Suehiro” is a rare restaurant in the Yurakucho neighborhood and has a traditional atmosphere. You can enjoy a fresh taste without any odd smell because the tempura is made from fish stocked from Tsukiji. Among those tempura, the “Wakasagi-pond smelt tempura” is famous. It’s perfect combined with beer.

5. 京都つる家ザ・ペニンシュラ東京店 Kyoto Tsuruya The Peninsula Tokyo Shop


If you want to taste the most luxurious tempura in Yurakucho, you must go to the “Kyoto Tsuruya the Peninsula Tokyo Shop”. This store has such a dignified atmosphere and so many dishes to choose from. It is also popular with foreigners.

6. 天まる Tenmaru


In “Tenmaru”, you can enjoy a full tempura course. We recommend you that you enjoy a luxurious meal at the counter. You can also try the banquet course if you come in a group. The tempura has a refined taste but also has reasonable prices. You might want to try it at least once.

7. 天あさ Tenasa


“Tenasa” has a cozy atmosphere but you can enjoy a luxurious here. They are particular about wine and although it does not match with its quiet and humble apperance, they are growing into a famous restaurant.
