1. PABLO\'s Cheese Tarts

PABLO is a store with many branches that specializes in cheese tarts that can be freshly baked according to how well done you want your tart. Out of the three varieties that they offer, the PABLO Cheese Tart (850 JPY (incl. tax)) is the one that will let you enjoy that “fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth” texture. It is an exquisitely fluffy tart that’s filled with cheese cream, has a crunchy crust, and is topped with apricot jam. This is the medium grade of well-done cheese tart that was carefully baked at their atelier.
You can also choose to go with the PABLO Nude (800 JPY (incl. tax)) that has a melty, no-bake texture, or the well-done PABLO Rich (1,600 JPY (incl. tax)) that has a luxurious taste and soft texture. Take-out is only available if you buy a whole cheese tart. At the stores attached to the cafe (Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi OPA Kireikan, and Umeda HEP FIVE branches), you can have a slice of PABLO Cheese Tart with a drink for just a single coin (500 JPY (incl. tax)).





2. Daikokuya\'s Souffle Cheesecake

Located in Hirakata City, Daikokuya is a well-established sweets shop that offers a selection of seasonal wagashi (Japanese confectionery). One of the recommended sweets here is the Daikokuya no Souffle Cheesecake (648 JPY (incl. tax)) that is carefully made by hand every day. The secret behind the popularity of this cake with a diameter of about 15cm is its fluffy texture and mild sweetness. It uses specialty ingredients like premium natural cream cheese from Denmark and fresh milk and eggs. The main store in Omine has an eat-in space where you can eat what you have bought right away. You can pair your cake with fresh machine-brewed coffee.





3. Chat noir\'s Fuwafuwa Fromage

Chat noir is a store that mainly operates on the eastern side of Osaka. Specializing in Western confectionery, this store’s symbol is a black cat (“chat noir” in French), which is said to bring luck in Europe. At Chat noir, the most popular the most popular sweet is the Fuwafuwa Fromage (150 JPY per piece (incl. tax)). This petite souffle cheesecake that literally fits in the palm of your hand is extremely soft. Take a bite and you will feel it melt in your mouth, treating you to the rich taste of cheese.

4. Zuchi\'s Cheesecake

Zuchi is a shop that is about a 3-minute walk from Kayashima Station on the Keihan Electric Railway. Locals love this takeout-only cheesecake store. Its signature item, the Cheesecake (650 JPY (incl. tax)), is famous for its fluffy souffle base and simple and mild flavor that you won’t get tired of. This cake with a diameter of about 20cm makes a unique bursting sound when melting in the mouth. It is not made with any preservatives, and Zuchi only sells cakes that they made on that day, so the shop might close early if stocks run out fast.
