The Japanese dish, okonomiyaki still hasn’t gotten the same limelight as other Japanese dishes. It would be quite difficult to explain to those, who have never eaten it about how a mixture of ingredients that is later grilled could create something so delicious.

1. Naniwa (浪花) [Nerima]

「Naniwa」 is a popular restaurant in Nerima and famous figures also come here to dine but don’t get confused with is original Japanese characters with the Naniwa district in Osaka. At this restaurant, you can have Osaka style okonomiyakis. The menu here offers a wide variety of okonomiyakis to choose from and you can also have some delicious takoyaki here too.

This restaurant also provides an interesting attraction for its diners with waiting staff that are dressed in costumes.

For some Hiroshima style okonomiyaki, you must head to「Koinobori」. This restaurant has been featured in some magazines and they offer high quality okonomiyakis.
