Mitsueda Shoten

Loc Yaizu/Shimada, Shizuoka

Roasted Local Vegetables Dressed with Vinaigrette

The farmers of Fujieda love food. This dish is made using their fresh locally produced vegetables, simply seasoned to bring out the natural flavors of each ingredient. A sauce made with white wine vinegar adds a sour note to the dish. This cheese, which comes from the Tokachi dairy region, is made using grazing cow’s milk. It is rich and soft, with a simple flavor. We prepare this dish before your eyes, using a raclette warmer. Our staff strive to anticipate your every need, and to time the moment when we refill your wine glass or remove your plate perfectly. We purposely chose names for our dishes, such as Normandy-style pork giblets marinated in white wine, that instinctively encourage people to ask: “What is that?” This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better.

Robata Dining Kuraya

Loc Mount Fuji/Fujinomiya, Shizuoka

Tofu Cheese Teppanyaki with aromatic tofu and rich cheese.

Savor the strong flavor of soy beans topped with rich cheese in our original "Tofu Cheese Teppanyaki" (skillet grilled) dish. The portions are generous and the variety of textures make this a dish we are proud to serve, and that our guests keep coming back for. The local Shizuoka "Fuji Chicken" we use is distinctively tender and juicy. We make our "Chicken Skewers" by hand from fresh meat daily, before roasting them over fragrant charcoal to bring out their savory flavor. We are also particular about using only fresh - never frozen - meat for our sashimi and other cold dishes. Every ingredient is carefully selected, and all dishes are made by hand in the kitchen. Our chef loves to hear that you found his food delicious. Our third floor seats a maximum of 45 diners. It is perfect for welcoming receptions or parties to celebrate the end of a successful project. On our second floor you can watch us make your meals. We have all kinds of course meals available, so select one to suit your budget and spend a utterly

Sakana Ryouri Senmonten Totoichi

Loc Hamamatsu/Lake Hamana, Shizuoka

Try the rare unagi sashimi and other riches of the waters surrounding Hamamatsu

Hamamatsu is well known for its unagi (eel). We made these eels into sashimi (cuts of raw meat), which is a rarity in Japan. Unagi have a poison in their blood. This exquisite item is the result of knowledge in how to drain the blood and the expert skills of sashimi making. The Enshunada Sea and Lake Hamana, that surround Hamamatsu, are an abundant source of seafood. A wide range of foods can be enjoyed throughout the seasons, which locals are proud of. At this restaurant we ask our customers to take their shoes off to be seated in a tatami room. As you leave, we present a humble gift of origami cranes made by our staff with messages in them. All rooms are private with a kotatsu (heater) build into the floors. It is ideal for business entertainment. In recent times, it has been used more frequently for a first meeting place with families of newlyweds. It is also suitable for birthdays and other celebrations.

Gotemba Restaurant Kuishinbogomi

Loc Numazu/Gotenba, Shizuoka

Sample from 25-30 different types of vegetables with our Five Vegetable Plate

This plate is centered around seasonal vegetables. We only make 15 portions of this completely vegetable based dish per day. The menu changes every week. In the past, we have served daikon radish cutlets, vegetable sushi, bagna cauda, homemade sweet potato fries, and pickles. We try to serve seasonal vegetables, carefully selected home grown vegetables, meat dishes that pair well with these vegetables, and seasonal seafood dishes. We particularly recommend Kokyu Toyonaga’s tomatoes from Mishima in Shizuoka prefecture. We produce our own zucchini and sweet potatoes in our own field. We try to communicate with people who visit the restaurant in many different ways. However busy we are, we like to genuinely interact with customers rather than treat them like they are on an assembly line. We have created a mellow interior with warm colors and terracotta tiles on the floor. We obtain various types of wood to use in our wood-burning stove. Our portion sizes are designed to suit women because the majority of our c

Japanese Restaurant Yabu

Loc Numazu/Gotenba, Shizuoka

Experience a slice of tradition in our comfortable and private setting with our juicy Japanese sirloin steak, topped with fresh wasabi.

Our juicy wagyu (Japanese beef) sirloin steak is topped off with fresh wasabi and a special sauce. Sampling this rare combination of flavors may just lead to you becoming obsessed with the dish! Every morning, we painstakingly pierce the eels that have been swimming in underground water at Mount Fuji with skewers, one by one. Employing an exquisite grilling method, we make the effort to spitchcock these eels thoroughly. Our puffy and tender Mishima unagi (eel) that results from this method is a gem of a meal! We are committed to our mission of providing top-notch hospitality that includes scrumptious food as well as great service that comes from the heart. Above all, we get our satisfaction from seeing our customers leave our restaurant with smiling faces. We have individual rooms that can be used to cater to the needs of small groups, such as family anniversaries and important meetings. You can leisurely and comfortably spend quality time with the people who matter to you in a private setting.

Beer Bar Marumaru

Loc Numazu/Gotenba, Shizuoka

Declicious smoked mackerell in a French atmosphere

Using fresh mackerel harvested from the Bay of Numazu, the meat is smoked to a soft, rich texture uncommon for smoked meat. As an appetizer, we serve "Organic Vegetable Salad" that anyone can eat. The organic vegetables are carefully selected and harvested from Fujinomiya and Nirayama in the owner's Shizuoka Prefecture. From the potatoes, purple violets, and white carrots, the color is brilliant and fresh, and the taste is deep. This is one of our novel dishes. Barrel-aged craft beer from across Japan, wines of the world, and home cooking, we serve food and drink that is not only delicious but is even more delightful if you know where it came from. The owner is a sommelier, and he is able to carefully explain the finer points of available wines. With high-quality beer and wine in a soothing, soft and chic atmosphere based on French pubs, this bar is excellent for customers who come to dine alone, having parties with friends, and lively people who like to enjoy themselves.

Echizen-ya Tousuke

Loc Numazu/Gotenba, Shizuoka

Enjoy our signature beef-sinew stew in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.

Our restaurant's beef-sinew stew is deliciously salty. Brimming with the savoriness of the ingredients, the melt-in-your-mouth, tender beef sinew makes for a refreshing dish with a rich, complex flavor. This is one you simply have to try. For our Sashimi Sampler and other seafood dishes, the quality and freshness of the ingredients is essential. Our seafood comes from trusted suppliers, and we offer the best prices possible. When it comes to meal service, timing is important, but we think speed is of the essence, too. For example, when we make tempura, we serve it to you as quickly as we can so that it's deliciously piping hot. We're a traditional, uncomplicated pub. We don't want you to feel rushed or put upon in any way - when you spend time here, you'll feel completely relaxed. We know that that's just what many diners are looking for.
