Pizzeria Pino Isola VESTA, which opened in August 2021, offers pizza made in a wood-fired oven. The name of the restaurant means "Pino" (pine tree), "Isola" (island), and "Westa" (the name of the goddess of the hearth and fire). Our restaurant uses fish caught the same day in nearby waters, so it's a great feeling to be able to cook the whole fish for a dish like "Acqua pazza." This is a colorful meal, where the flavors of the fish really are splendid. The pork is Hoei pork from Hokkaido-low in fat and calories, while being high in protein. The salt we use is Mediterranean crystal flake salt. Odorless Hoei pork tastes better with salt than with sauce, as the former brings out the sweetness of the meat.
