Ryuen, established in 1981 in Kokura, is an authentic yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant many celebrities love. The second store, Ryuen Nishinakasu Branch, focuses on aged meat cured with original aging methods and Kobe beef. It is the only restaurant in Fukuoka registered as the designated registration store for Kobe beef, proofing that the restaurant is authorized to handle Kobe Beef. Sakanaya Soma, located in Nishimachi, Kurume City, is a modern Japanese-style restaurant where you can savor delicious sake and fish dishes. [Teruzushi] was an ordinary sushi shop with over 50 years of history in the town. However, the third generation, Mr. Takayoshi Watanabe has transformed the shop into a high-end restaurant since he succeeded it. Now are popular among gourmets from all over Japan. The key to the popularity are the ingredients; Mr. Watanabe made the best efforts to find high-quality ingredients and kept purchasing seafood from wholesalers and fisherman to obtain their trust. Now they can stock the highest-grade ingredients, such as huge Japanese Tiger Prawn, ark shell, long tooth grouper, and black abalone. Enjoy them in the Teruzushi way, such as using aged vinegar specially-created by a vinegar brewery in the area for the sushi rice. At dinnertime, we serve seasonal a-la-carte dishes using fresh ingredients of Hakata, such as sashimi, and simmered/ grilled/fried dishes, as well as sake and shochu (Japanese alcohols). We offer original menus such as [Sashimi] with the savory original taste of wild fish, [Shrimp Cream Croquet] to enjoy the whole shrimp with rich cream, and grilled seafood simply with salt or miso to bring out their original savory and fresh tastes. If you select our special courses costing over 3000JPY, you can add an all-you-can-drink option for only 1300JPY. For an additional 500JPY, you will be able to partake in all our premium liquors, with a wide variety of sakes and shochus.

The chef uses his inspiration for the day to enlighten him on how to cook this prized dish of his, which features an extravagant bounty of fresh seasonal seafood, such as natural sea bream, golden threadfin bream, squid, and clams caught in the Genkai Sea. If you prefer the bounty of the land, the tender female ducks from Barbarie, France are grilled over time and is served with a classical fruit sauce.
