Nana Hari is held annually in May for three days during *the Golden Week.
Hari is an Okinawan dragon boat race and festival that celebrates and prays for marine safety and a rich haul.
Naha Hari is the largest scale among all of the Hari events held in Okinawa!

Many teams join this race and work really hard to win. Many of the local schools and companies join and compete and their families and friends watch the race and cheer them up. But this race is not about winning. The important thing is to help each other, try hard, have fun and pray!

They also have fireworks, performances, sumo wrestling and nice food stalls during the 3-days festival, so you can enjoy all day there!
