Lately, the number of Halal corresponding restaurants have been increasing in Tokyo, but its number is not so many as a whole. In a non-Muslim country like Japan, it is difficult to be a 100% Halal/ Muslim compliant, so each restaurant has a different degree of committment.

In the current situation, it is extremely hard to find a source, which sumarizes the information systematically, so it is assumed that many Muslim people who visit Japan would often go through the anxiety.

So, summarized in this article is such information in a concise and simple manner. If any of you happened to be a Muslim and plan to visit Tokyo, please refer to this information by all means.

Local Halal certified restaurants

"Local halal certification" is a certificate that can be obtained through the Malaysia Halal Corporation (MHC), which works to develop the halal industry in non-Muslim countries like Japan.

With the rise in number of Muslims visiting Japan, such as embassy officials, government officials, tourists, students and business people have resulted in the increased economic and cultural ex-changes between Islamic countries and Japan. It is estimated that the population of Muslims living in Japan has reached around 100,000. Nevertheless, we have heard Muslims complaining that they wish they could eat delicious Japanese beef and their children also want to eat their favorite foods, hamburger steak or hamburger only if they were Halal while they are in Japan.

Our mission is to develop the Halal Industry in Japan. Our aim s to create a global “Halal Community”. Under the slogan of 'HALAL FOR ALL' we bring business opportunities and growth to the Japanese industry.
