1. Avocado Burger

McDonald’s Japan has recently rolled out a series of avocado burgers – featuring avocado with beef patty, fried chicken and fried shrimp. Available at 399yen.

2. “Moon-gazing” Burger

The tsukimi (‘moon-gazing’) burger is available at McDonald’s every year in autumn, in accordance with the Japanese tradition of moon gazing during the mid-autumn festival.

It is basically a burger with beef patty, boiled egg and bacon.

The packaging is so cute that you will forget they are from McDonald’s!

3. Teritama Burger

“Teritama” is a comibination of “teriyaki chicken” and egg (“tamago”). It is available every year in spring.

In 2014, a new edition called the “Sakura Teritama Burger” was rolled out.

Apparently, sakura petals were used in making the burger… Sure smells like spring!
