Nowadays, Hello Kitty is loved not only in Japan, but also all over the world.There are all kinds of goods like stuffed animals, stationary and keychains that attract all generations of people. Did you know there are even Hello Kitty collaborations with local cities, prefectures and shrines all over Japan ?
This local Hello Kitty is a standard souvenir in Japan. You can find them at every famous sightseeing spot in Japan, and even a few not so famous ones.
They are usually limited to only that region, so you have to visit there to get them. That makes them more special and attracts collectors.

Mt. Fuji Kitty
Mt. Fuji is one of the most famous and popular sightseeing spots in Japan.This Mt. Fuji Kitty is only found in Shizuoka prefecture or Yamanashi prefecture, where Mt. Fuji is located. They come in many different colors, including a red one which shows the color of Mt. Fuji as the sun sets.
Tokyo Tower Kitty
This is only sold in Tokyo Tower. If you look carefully, Kitty's ears are hidden! It might be a very rare Kitty.
Daibutsu Kitty
This Daibutsu Kitty is limited only to Kamakura. Kitty sitting on Daibutsu's laps looks so cute, right?
Nagata-cho Kitty
The center of Japanese politics, Nagata-cho, Tokyo. Here is Kitty showing her support at the Diet Building. I'm not sure whether it is cute or not anymore, but I'm sure it will be a good memory!
Sea urchin Kitty
This sea urchin Kitty is from Hokkaido, which is famous for delicious seafood.
