Pork back ribs
You can use the part that you want. For those who like strong flavor and fat, choose pork back ribs.
For those who prefer a lighter flavor, choose pork loin.
3. Soy sauce
The soy sauce is a Japanese condiment that can be found in local stores of a lot of countries nowadays.
1. Cut the pork into thin slices
In Japan thin slices pork is sold in supermarkets. If you don’t have thin slices of pork at your local store, cut it at home or ask your butcher to do so.
2. Grate ginger
Grating ingredients might be something specific from Japanese cooking. In Japan we have grate plates like this but if you don’t have it in your country just use a blender!
3. Cook the pork loin
Heat up a frying pan with oil and then cook the pork
4. Add the sauce
When the meat has almost changed color, add the sauce. Put granted ginger, soy sauce and sugar to make the sauce. Put the same amount of sugar and soy sauce, or a little more sugar than soy sauce. For the granted ginger, put the amount you like!
5. It’s done!
