2. Watts (meets./ silk)

This 100 yen shop chain originally ran two brands, ‘meets.’ and ‘silk’, and is now trying to integrate them into one brand, ‘Watts’. They are conscious of their quality of their products, of the locality, and their customers’ lifestyles. For this reason, their shops are mainly located at non-major retail districts and the products they offer differ depending on the region. In addition to useful households goods, you can find a wide varieties of seasonal items and DIY materials that will stimulate your creativity.

3. Realize

Realize is an Osaka local 100 yen shop where you can find cute and rather chic accessories and household goods. Although it was originally a 100 yen shop, the prices actually range from 100 yen to 500 yen and more for some items. Their products have a reputation for being good value for money. It might be a good idea to stop by the branch close to Tenjinbashisuji 3-chome Arcade, if you are visiting this famous shopping arcade.

3COINS, a 300 yen shop chain, sells various fashion items in addition to daily goods that are basic in design and in color. Some bigger items are sold at 1000yen. Their accessories are popular among locals for their value for money. A good thing is is that you can pay by Union Pay Card at the Umeda HEP FIVE shop and the Nagahori Crysta shop, and the Namba City shop is participating in a tax-free program.

5. Mikazuki Momoko

Mikazuki Momoko, a 300 yen shop, offers miscellaneous items for women and girls. Their aim is to make women and girls happy every day. From cute to chic, a wide range of colorful products are displayed in the shops: accessories, fashion items, daily items, and small ornaments to enrich your daily life. You can find some products designed for kids, too. It’s hard to believe that they all cost only 300yen!

6. Cou Cou

CouCou is 300 yen shop chain specialized in cute items. They offer wide varieties of products including table wares, household goods, accessories, and other fashion items. If you love cute things, this place is worth visiting. While CouCou features pastel-colored items, you can find stuff in trendy colors and designs, too. This shop is filled with things to brighten up your daily life. The Osaka store is situated on Namba Walk close to Nipponbashi subway station.

7. Lattice

As the boutique-like interior suggests, Lattice is specialized in stylish fashion items. Their aim is to allow you to always dress to match your mood of the day at an affordable price. It is the perfect place to browse for small items to finish your outfit of the day during your trip!

8. Kitchen Kitchen

Kitchen Kitchen is a sister chain of Natural Kitchen with the concept to make your home as comfortable as a café. You can find miscellaneous table wares and kitchen utensils to make your tea time more relaxing. They update their displays with about ninety new products a month. The price ranges from 100 yen to 1000 yen, but most of their goods are sold for under 500 yen. There are two shops in Osaka: one in Umeda Hankyu Sanbangai and another in Abeno Q’s mall.

ASOKO is based on the Minami-Horie shopping districts where you can find plenty of items in the contemporary urban style. Approximately a thousand items are on display at the boutique and offer customers both surprises and fun on a budget. You might not be able to leave the store without being stimulated by their stylish items. The prices range mainly from 100 yen to 500 yen in multiples of 100 yen. The iPhone speaker shown costs only 400 yen. There is another branch at Umeda Chayamachi NU in Osaka.

TIGER Copenhagen was originally a 10 krone shop in Denmark. You can find wide varieties of low priced stylish items in the Scandinavian style as the prices mainly range from 100 yen to 500 yen in multiples of 100 yen. If you’d like to upgrade your room furnishings with small items on a budget, this place is a must-visit. You can buy simple yet sophisticated home goods including table wares and soft furnishings.
