1. Hotel New Otani

Hotel New Otani Tokyo is my number one choice because this hotel offers two very different types of buffets – a sandwich buffet and an international buffet on the 17th floor. As well as this, “The Garden Lounge” offers a breath-taking view of a 400 year-old Japanese garden (see photo below) and “The Sky” restaurant rotates for an impressive panoramic view of Tokyo.

2. Musashi, Asakusa View Hotel

On May 22, in commemoration of the opening of Tokyo Skytree, the Asakusa View Hotel, the tower’s “official friendship hotel,” opened Musashi, a new buffet restaurant and bar on its 26th floor.

Tokyo’s new landmark is 634 meters tall, the digits of which when spoken in Japanese can sound like “mu-sa-shi.” The hotel is in the Asakusa area, across the Sumida River from where Tokyo Skytree stands in Sumida Ward, so the restaurant offers great views of the tower. Also, from the other side of the hotel, guests can enjoy splendid views of Mount Fuji.

Musashi offers more than 50 kinds of dishes, including Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine.

3. Keio Plaza Hotel

The “Glass Court” located in the main tower on the 2nd floor of the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo made the list because of its popularity. The hotel highly recommends that you make a reservation if you’d like to eat at this buffet restaurant. They also have child prices but that is only for children of primary school age. The Super Buffet includes Japanese, tempura, sushi, Chinese, Korean and Western cuisine.

4. Marble Lounge, The Hilton Tokyo

Pizza and salad bar buffet. A nonstop selection of fresh garden salads with a variety of unique condiments such as marinated chicken breast and mixed seafood, with a special house dressing. There is also a daily pizza special and cold soup du jour. ´1500, add ´400 if you want tea or coffee.
