Kikukawa is a well-established restaurant located off-street in Ginza. At night, it is an expensive restaurant going over 10,000 yen but during lunch, you can enjoy delicious authentic Japanese cuisine for about 1,500 yen. The photograph shows Omakase Gozen (Chef's Selection Meal), a meal consisting of dozens of side dishes is superb. There is also the Osakana Gozen (Fish Meal) which can be enjoyed for under 1,300 yen. Uchiyama is an one-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant. This popular Michelin starred restaurant has reasonable lunch menus. The photo above is Tai Chazuke (red sea bream chazuke) is extremely popular. Tai chazuke is a dish enjoyed by placing the raw red sea bream mixed in fragrant sesame seed sauce and pouring soup over it. It is a dish nice on the stomach. 4. Hanabusa [Akihabara]

This famous restaurant in Chiyoda-ku has been loved by a well-known Japanese novelist. Serving as a popular Japanese restaurant for business meetings and business entertainment, this restaurant has private dining rooms to enjoy meals. The Business Lunch in the photo can be enjoyed for under 2,000 yen. Other dishes include the tai chazuke (red sea bream chazuke) and a dozen more so it is hard to choose which one to eat. 5. Nihonbashi Tsujihan  [Nihonbashi]

People make long lines in Nihonbashi to eat at Tsujihan, a well-known seafood rice bowl restaurant. This restaurant offers high quality seafood rice bowls that are delicately seasoned and well-prepared. 6. Azabu Juban Takishita [Azabu Juban]

Takishita is a well-known char-grill restaurant located in Azabu Juban. This grand Japanese lunch menu offers a very popular set menu of fish grilled over charcoal which creates long lines at lunch time. They offer four to seven different types of fish and rice is served generously so you can eat a filling lunch. The price varies depending on the fish but ranges from 1,200 yen to 1,800 yen which can be a little high. Kurogi is a famous restaurant in Yushima on the Michelin guide. This restaurant is very famous among Japanese cuisine restaurants and dinner courses start from 10,000 yen, offering high quality food. However during lunch hours, they offer a dish for 1,000 yen. The Tai Chazuke (red sea bream chazuke) in the photo is only available during lunch time. It is a very popular dish and reservations are necessary so make a phone call before visiting here.

8. Kagura [Akasaka]

Kagura is a well-known Japanese restaurant in Akasaka. This restaurant is famous for its Kaiseki cuisine (traditional Japanese multi-course). The quiet interior and few seats create a relaxing environment to dine. The set meal in the photo is the Nizakana Gozen (Boiled Fish Meal) for a reasonable price of 1,600 yen and only 10 servings are available everyday.
