1. Up the Skytree and enjoy the superb view

On the observation deck floor, you can enjoy the scenery at the level of 350 meters from the ground. There are 4 spots where you can enjoy a view from Tembo Deck called “Tokyo Jiku Navi”. It takes only 50 seconds to Tembo Deck by the high-speed elevator. There is also “Glass Floor of Fear”.

Tembo Galleria (展望回廊)

The Tembo Galleria is 100 meters higher than Tembo Deck. It is 450 meters high, and the highest point is 451.2 meters. This is the second highest observation deck in the world, following Shanghai World Financial Center. You can visit it during daytime, but evening and night time is more recommended to look over the city of Tokyo.

2. Play around with sea creatures in Sumida Aquarium (すみだ水族館) 

“Sumida Aquarium” is located in the Tokyo Skytree Town. It has natural water scenery, Aqua Gallery, coral reefs, fur seal and penguin zones. Though it is in Skytree Town, you can enjoy penguins and colorful fish.

3. Purify yourself at the Planetarium

Planetarium is on the seventh floor of the Tokyo Skytree Town East Yard. It uses the state-of-the-art video and sound equipment, which is full of realism. The armrest of each seat can be moved, joining two seats to use as a couple seat. You can even enjoy different scents during the healing sessions.

5.Get Japanese souvenirs in Tokyo Solamachi

Tokyo Solamachi is at the foot of Skytree. There are 312 shops and restaurants. On the 4th floor, there is a corner of Japanese souvenirs, including Japanese goods. How about looking for souvenirs in Solamachi after seeing the town of Tokyo from Skytree?

6. Take a look at various stamps at the Postal Museum (郵政博物館)

About 330,000 types of stamps are exhibited in Postal Museum, which is the largest in Japan. It also has a game using digital technology and 3-sided screen theater. You can experience delivering mails on a postal motorbike. Not only children but also adults can enjoy there.

7. Look up at the beautiful Skytree from Yanagibashi Crossover Bridge 

 

Yanagibashi Crossover Bridge has been famous as a shooting spot of Skytree since its construction. Kitajikken River adds spice to the beauty of Skytree. You can take a photo of whole Skytree, and also see Skytree reflected upside down on the river. It is good to look up Skytree closely, but seen from this place, you can find another attraction of Skytree.
