Shibuya Scramble Crossing

The Shibuya Scramble Crossing is an intersection located outside the Shibuya Station (3 million people a day use the Shibuya Station) that represents the city of Shibuya. 500,000 people cross this world’s largest intersection in a day. There are times when 3,000 people cross in one green light. It is located near the Hachiko statue.




The Starbucks SHIBUYA TSUTAYA will definitely catch your eye when crossing the scramble. This Starbucks is the perfect spot to take photos of the scramble as it is glass-fronted. It is important to find the seats where you can see the scramble from the best position ahead of time.

2. Estacion Cafe



Located on the 5th floor of the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu, Estacion Cafe has counter seats where you can command a panoramic view of the Shibuya Crossing. The ceiling is 8 meters tall, providing a wide open space inside and you can enjoy delicious food and drinks here.

3. Shibuya Nishimura Fruits Parlour


Shibuya Nishimura Fruits Parlour is a well-established restaurant located near the Shibuya Scramble. They mainly serve parfaits and offer sweet, delicious dishes. Seats are easier to find compared to Starbucks.

4. L’Occitane Cafe Shibuya


This cafe is run by the cosmetic brand, L’Occitane. The first floor is the cosmetic shop and the cafe is on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Look for the orange building near the scramble to access this cafe. At the cafe, you can mainly enjoy Provencal cuisine in the middle of Shibuya.

5. Oriental Dining LOHB

Oriental Dining LOHB is located on the 4th and 5th floor of the same building as the L’Occitane Cafe Shibuya. This restaurant offers oriental dining with “Natural & Healthy & Beauty” as its theme. How about having a nice dinner while viewing the night view and the Shibuya Crossing?

6. Hoshino Coffee 109 MEN’S

Located inside the famous fashion building, Shibuya 109 MEN’s is Hoshino Coffee. You can also drink delicious coffee while viewing the Shibuya Scramble. This is a great spot so it is worth going. Don’t forget to enjoy the soft, fluffy pancakes too.
