1. Kaiten Sushi Kiraku - Ichimon-bashi Branch

Kaiten Sushi Kiraku (Ichimon-bashi Branch) is one of the most well-received kaiten sushi restaurants in Kyoto. All the sushi - made with carefully selected ingredients - are delightful. Here, you can have almost the same quality of sushi as what you would get in a legitimate sushi bar. Once a month, they hold a tuna filleting event where you can see an enormous tuna being cut and made ready for sushi and sashimi up close. If you are looking for good sushi at a cheap cost, this is the place to be!

Since this restaurant is located inside a station, you don’t need to worry about missing a train while enjoying the delicious sushi here! The prices are a bit higher than other kaiten sushi stores, but the sushi here is really fresh, yummy, and worth paying more money for. When you don’t have time to sit down and enjoy your food, you can ask for take-out. This is a sushi place well-received by people of all ages.

Nigiri no Tokubee (Aeon Mall Katsuragawa Branch) is a kaiten sushi chain that is popular in the Hokuriku and Chubu regions. The orthodox sushi served here is made with carefully selected ingredients, and it is so good that it's hard believe it's a kaiten sushi restaurant! 7. Kyo no Tombo - Oumiya Main Branch

Kyo no Tombo (Oumiya Main Branch) is an affiliate company of Kappa Sushi, one of the biggest sushi chains in Japan. All the regular sushi cost 108 yen per plate. You can also have higher quality sushi for 194 yen per plate. They have an all-you-can-eat sushi course, which is rare for sushi restaurants to have. The inside is pretty spacious, so you can easily sit back and enjoy your meal here. The place the restaurant stands at now is the same place where Ryoma Sakamoto and Shintaro Nakaoka of the Tosa Domain had been assassinated. It is an incredible place for Japanese history buffs!

Chojiro (Shijo Kiyamachi Branch) is the luxury version of a sushi chain called Nigiri Chojiro, which is mainly popular around the Kinki area. They have touch panels with 4 different language options, so foreign travelers won’t have problems ordering what they want. You can enjoy a luxurious feeling and taste that can't be experienced at other ordinary kaiten sushi stores.

Nagare Zushi Sandaime Otowa (Fushimi Branch) is a sushi restaurant where you can have good sushi at a reasonable price. It isn't actually a kaiten sushi store, since the sushi won’t be rotating around the store. Rather, here, you will order your sushi with a touch panel on the table, and then the sushi will come to you. The inside is pretty clean and spacious. They have a variety of unique dishes, such as grilled sushi that they will cook right in front of you and collaboration sushi dishes (with other restaurants).
